Beginning Reading

Introduce and reinforce skills that will make learning to read more fun. First and second graders will practice sounding out words, identify opposites, sequence steps in picture stories, identify rhyming words and find pairs and categories. This Beginning Reading 1-2 workbook focuses on sounds, words, and word and picture relationships. Once children understand how the individual elements fit into the big picture, they become more confident readers and spellers.
